how to order?

for small birthday/celebration cakes:

cakes are for pick up only in the Pearl District
uncut cakes have a shelf life of 3 days when kept refrigerated.
select your size and favorite flavor from the cake menu.
they are all decorated using Here for the Cakes signature style. you may add on fresh florals, fresh fruit, and macarons for an additional cost.

I will reach out to answer all of your questions, look over any inspiration boards and provide an initial estimate. Once your event is 3 month out you may request a formal invoice and contract to book. A 50% non refundable deposit is due to save your date and your balance needs to be paid in full two weeks before your date.

do you do tastings?

Yes! The first (sometimes second) Friday of every month we do a tasting kit for pick up in the Pearl District. The kit includes 3 mini cakes of our most popular flavors. This will give you a good idea of our range and different flavor profiles.

how much does it cost?

small celebration cakes are priced by size:
— 4inch x 4layer (4-6 servings): starts at $60
— 5inch x 3layer (10-12 servings): starts at $80
— 6inch x 3layer (12-14 servings): starts at $100

anything larger than the sizes above or you a looking to fully customize, it’s considered an wedding/event cake and it’s priced by number of servings.
— starting price for large single tiered cakes $9/serving
— starting price for multi-tiered cakes $11/serving

how far in advance should I place my order?

books open three months in advance on the first of every month.

for celebration cakes we need a 2 weeks notice (although we book out sooner than that during high season).

for weddings and large events, you can set up a tasting kit as soon as you would like and we can start the conversation. And book three months in advance.

example: For a July2022 wedding be ready to book (place a deposit) at the beginning of May2022.

Why do I do this? Wedding season can get crazy and I want to give everyone a chance where you don’t have to book 2 years in advance.

do you deliver?

yes. a minimum order is of $800 is required and delivery/setup pricing starts at $100 dependent on distance. we can only accommodate delivery for venues writhing a 15 miles radius from the Pearl District.

at this time we do not offer tear down services.

do you have order limits or minimums?

due to the fact that we are a boutique cake shop we can only accommodate a limited amount of orders a year and of a certain size.

dessert tables are only available for events of 100 guests or less
cakes are available for events of 200 guests or less
— desserts are available either by the half dozen or full dozen depending on the item
— macarons and churro donuts are offered by the dozen and there is a maximum 4 dozen per order.

how to store and enjoy cakes?

store in the fridge but enjoy at room temperature!
servings are considered a 2inch wide x 1 inch deep rectangle

florals on cakes?

that’s my thing! I work with local florists to source my flowers. I work with the inspiration you have provided to create a design that would fit right in! If you prefer, I can work with your event florist to source the same flowers.

sugar and wafer paper flowers are also an option! clusters start at $150
